Today I sent a message to viewslip.com – want to sale in China via their service.
Got the reply during one hour – they ask what discount I’ll give.
Don’t know what to answer because haven’t any idea baout size of Chinese market (VCL components). Maybe send the standard proposition (20%) but with possibility to increase if we’ll make some good money in future together…
Yesterday got a few messages that some developer from Brazil sent a lot of unsolicited messages to my customers (SMImport) and asked a full package for evaluation. Really strange request:-)
Do you want to test without limitations, write to author and ask. If I (as author) will decide to do, I’ll create an extended trial.
But to send such messages to customers is absolutelly illegal.
Sent a message to this Brazilian smart guy with warning about unauthorized use and/or distribution of registered package (or any part).

Still now I’m on dialup and even to download the emails is not easy task. If any customer will send the attachment with some project, I’m ready to kill everyone.
Yeasterday 3 hours I spen until I downloaded the message with 4Mb attachment. Today all morning from home (before work) I tried to download another message (4Mb again) but without success.

Bad ISP don’t provide the xDSL on my phone station. The connection via TV-cable is not cheap. Don’t know how I’ll solve a problem but problem is very annoyed in last time.
All the night long there was a rain. When has woken up, thought that I’ll be languid during day.
But even if first part of work day I did a lot of work – fixed a bug in SMReport (group printing) that I tried to fix all last days, uploaded my programs to archives, fixed bug in datahouse and uploaded changes to VM+tracker.
Hope that today I also will implement the html export in MS Excel Viewer and fix a bug in xls-parser for Korean documents (SST-tag)
Today I created a few new demos for SMReport where I shown how to create the report form from code.
Sometime ago in Borland newsgroups the M.Dias wrote that only non-banded reports will cover the developer needs. I sure that banded reports are preferable but just to show that SMReport supports both modes (banded and non-banded forms), I created these demos.
So developer have a full control – if he/she want, draw anything on report canvas. Else use the bands and create controls (labels, expressions, shapes etc) on bands…
